G001Invalid Segment Order
Segments are not in the required sequence
Description
Metro 2 requires segments to appear in a specific order: Header, then for each account (Base, J1, J2, K1, K2, K3, K4, L1, N1), then Trailer. Optional segments must follow their defined sequence. Out-of-order segments will be rejected.
Common Causes
- File sorting disrupted segment order
- Segments added without maintaining order
- Source data groups not in correct sequence
How to Fix
- 1Maintain proper segment order during generation
- 2Don't sort the file after generation
- 3Group all segments for each account together

Metro 2 code reference
A rejected value is usually a wrong code rather than a wrong format. Every CRRG code set has a per-code page with its meaning and cross-field rules. Metro 2 codes: the complete cheat sheet puts all of them on one page.
