Make the resident experience part of your reporting program

    A clearer view of credit

The credit hub organizes scores by bureau and score model, with dated observations and a history chart. Renters can review a change in context instead of treating every number as the same score.

    Private credit alerts

Residents review provider-supplied credit-file alerts in their own portal, filter unread items, and mark an alert as read. Individual scores and alert details stay out of the property manager’s view.

    Resident-controlled participation

Access requests, provider verification, outcome-sharing preferences, and cancellation live together. Requesting monitoring and choosing to share grouped outcomes are separate decisions.

    How it works

    1. 01

      Connect a resident account

Start with a resident portal account linked to the property manager. Residents can access rent reporting history independently of credit monitoring.

    2. 02

      Request access when enrollment opens

The resident accepts the access request and completes the provider’s identity verification and authorizations. An access request alone does not start monitoring.

    3. 03

      Follow provider updates

After activation, received scores and alerts appear in the credit hub. Refresh timing, bureau coverage, and score models depend on the monitoring provider.

Credit visibility with room for resident choice

Property managers can make credit visibility part of a rental benefit program without turning a resident’s private credit file into an operator dashboard. The portal keeps score details with the resident; rental analytics can show grouped outcomes only for eligible participants who choose to share.

Residents can request cancellation from their credit hub. BureauRelay stops accepting new monitoring updates and removes outcome-sharing eligibility while provider cancellation awaits confirmation. Rent reporting continues independently of that monitoring choice.

A score change can reflect activity across a resident’s entire credit file. The hub identifies the bureau, model, range, and observation date, distinguishes an unavailable score from a zero, and labels scores more than 45 days old. It does not promise a particular score increase.

    Frequently asked questions

Is resident credit monitoring available now?

The resident credit hub is built. Live credit monitoring is awaiting provider activation. Contact us to discuss availability for your rental program.

Is credit monitoring the same as rent reporting?

They serve different purposes. Rent reporting prepares and delivers rental payment information through your reporting program. Credit monitoring shows a resident the scores and alerts received from a monitoring provider. The resident can use rent-reporting history without activating monitoring.

Can a landlord see a resident’s individual credit score?

Individual scores and credit alerts remain in the resident’s portal. The rental overview offers grouped outcomes for residents who separately choose to share; small groups are withheld. This feature is not a tenant-screening report.

Will residents receive email or text credit alerts?

This release displays provider-supplied alerts inside the resident portal. It does not send credit-alert emails, text messages, or push notifications.

Does this replace a resident’s existing credit-monitoring subscription?

Coverage and terms depend on the provider and rental program. Residents should review the available monitoring features and provider authorizations before deciding whether to change another service.
