Link the resident account
Connect the rental resident record to the person’s portal account. History is shown through that explicit connection to the property manager.

Prepare monthly rent-reporting records
The reporting workflow creates monthly records from the rental information in the program. The history page reflects those prepared records and any withheld status.

Review and download
The resident signs in, opens Rent history, and reviews the available months. Download history exports the displayed reporting information as a CSV file.
Make reporting status easier to explain
A rental benefit is easier to understand when residents have a place to see their own reporting history. The portal shows the reporting month and the information prepared for that month without exposing another resident’s records. This is useful when a resident wants to check which months appear or bring a particular balance to the property manager’s attention.
Prepared for reporting means a monthly reporting record exists. Withheld from reporting means that record was held back. Neither label is a confirmation that a credit bureau has accepted or posted the account. Keeping those meanings clear gives residents a more useful status than an undifferentiated ‘reported’ badge.
The downloaded history is a record of reporting preparation. It is not a rent-payment receipt, bank statement, complete payment ledger, or proof that a bureau has posted a tradeline. Residents can use it as a reference when discussing reporting questions with their property manager.

Does a resident need credit monitoring to see rent history?
No. Rent-reporting history is independent of credit monitoring. A signed-in resident can view monthly records explicitly linked to their account even while monitoring enrollment is unavailable.
How much rent history is available?
The portal displays up to two years of available monthly reporting records linked to the resident. A new account or newly connected rental record may have fewer months.
Is this a rent-payment receipt or rental ledger?
No. The download contains prepared monthly reporting records. Residents should obtain payment receipts or a complete rental ledger from their property manager or payment provider.
What does ‘Prepared for reporting’ mean?
BureauRelay has a monthly record prepared for the reporting workflow. It does not establish that the record has been delivered to, accepted by, or posted by a credit bureau.
Why would a resident’s history be empty?
No monthly reporting records may be available yet, or the rental record may not be connected to the resident’s portal account. The property manager can confirm the connection and reporting start date.
