A code indicating the current level of delinquency.
Definition
Payment Rating is the second character of the Account Status code that indicates the current level of delinquency. It ranges from 0 (current) to 9 (collection or charge-off). This code must be consistent with the Amount Past Due and Payment History Profile.
Examples
0 = Current1 = 30-59 days2 = 60-89 days3 = 90-119 days
Usage Notes
- Must match delinquency shown in Payment History Profile
- Only certain Account Status codes allow Payment Rating
- Directly impacts credit score
